Can hardly wait now to see the boys in green hit the big stage in Europe. Its been a long time come, 24 long years in fact. I hope Poland and Ukraine are ready for the deluge of football fans about to descend on their countries this coming June. Its going to be a fantastic spectacle and I really hope that the Irish can get a few decent results.

The last time I was in Ireland I traveled to Galway to see how my beleaguered League of Ireland team were doing. Bad and it just gets worse it seems. There was some truly dreadful football on display and it was hard to see any hope for the future really. I drove back in my car hire Dublin to get my flight pondering on what will happen to my beloved Galway Utd.

The League of Ireland has certainly seen its fair share of financial troubles over the years and just when it seems clubs are starting to make real progress in Europe and beginning to push on, another club starts to look like it will hit the wall. There has been a lot of good work done at ground level so lets hope some of this work starts to make a difference soon.

I don’t know about you but I have really had enough of the rain. In the part of the world where I live we get lots and lots of rain. It really can be a pain at times and quite depressing. Many times on the rainiest days I think about the summer and getting away for a break. When I’m squeezing the rain out of my socks after finally getting in to work, it can be a very relaxing thought.

Unfortunately most of us don’t get much free time during the year. Our 2 to 4 weeks of holidays are often taken up by other considerations but if you can manage it all you really should make time for yourself and get away for a break. The physical and mental health advantages a break can offer are huge and should not be underestimated.

For many its a no brainer to use a car hire service while on holiday. The benefits are certainly easy to see. Hiring a car is a lot cheaper than you might think. There are plenty of companies out there looking for your business. The fiercest competition of course exists in the busy holiday locations such as Malaga, Majorca, Faro etc. You really should go through all the details of your hire a car contract very carefully as you may miss something important. Take your time searching as the best offers are not always easily found.

Summer is a great time for music festivals. Pretty much every country in Europe will have events happening. Some of the biggest music festivals include Glastonbury in the UK and Primavera in Barcelona. Some other festivals of note in the UK include T in the Park and and Reading while Ireland hosts the Oxygen Festival and Electric Picnic. Be sure to be prepared for bad weather if attending any of these and pack wellies, warm clothes and of course toilet paper . If you are camping then dont leave it too late to buy the gear you need as shops tend to sell out quickly around festival season.

Street and city festivals are also widespread throughout Europe. From big cities to small towns you will always find some event happening. The locals are always very proud of their heritage and will celebrate it in every way possible. Tripadvisor is a good informative website which will help you plan your holiday time. Whatever city you plan on visiting they will have it listed with plenty of information on where and when events are happening. It is also excellent for user reviews as you can skip the sales talk on regular websites and hear the real deal from actual customers when it comes to items such as hotels, car hire, various attractions and special discounts.

Planning a break away is not a difficult thing to get right but dont fall into the trap of thinking everything will be alright on the day. Plan your trip away with care and attention to detail so as to avoid any nasty surprises which can pop up. If you do run into any holiday problems then stay calm and come up with a workable solution. This is all worst case scenario stuff though so dont worry and just make the most of your precious free time.

Stretching out in front of the clear blue sea on a hot golden beach, beer in hand, sunglasses on, soaking it all up. Its quite an image and one many of us long for throughout the year. Get yourself packed up and ready to go this summer and don’t leave it too late to find the best offers.

There is lots and lots of fun awaiting you but you must make the right choice. There are many great choices when it comes to holidays but they can vary in satisfaction greatly depending on ones taste. Many of the younger generation will long for the club/beach holiday spots such as Ibiza and Majorca. They adore the party scene and the non stop opportunities to be out socialising.

These islands also offer opportunities for the middle aged and older generations also with quieter spots available away from the noise of the party districts. Here you can sample all the local food delicacies and take life at your own relaxed pace. So depending on what you are looking for, make sure you don’t end up in the wrong resort or you could be in for a very disappointing holiday.

Sightseeing holidays are as popular as ever and you will find lots of amazing hostorical sites throughout Europe. Ancient Athens is an excellent idea for those who wish to mix culture with some glorious sunshine. The islands are also not too far away should you wish to hit the beaches. Plan everthing ahead of time if possible.

Arranging a car hire can be an important part of any trip whether its for business or pleasure. The flexibility and peace of mind offered by a rental car can be of great benefit to travelers. When traveling on business you need to know that you can rely on a mode of transport to get you to important meetings on time.

Public transport simply just does not cut it in many towns and cities. You need to be sure 100% that you can get to your destination on time. A one way car hire service can be particularly useful if you need to travel around different parts of the country. You can arrive into an airport of your choice, pick up your rental then head for another city. You then have the option of flying home from that cities airport and dropping your rental car off there. There will usually be an extra fee for this but in most cases it is not that much.

One way car hire is a great option for holiday travelers too. You can plan out your holiday itinerary to cover many locations around the country your are visiting. For instance in France you could begin your holiday in Paris and then finish up in the south of France in somewhere like Nice or Carcassonne before flying home.
