The last time I was in Ireland I traveled to Galway to see how my beleaguered League of Ireland team were doing. Bad and it just gets worse it seems. There was some truly dreadful football on display and it was hard to see any hope for the future really. I drove back in my car hire Dublin to get my flight pondering on what will happen to my beloved Galway Utd.

Street and city festivals are also widespread throughout Europe. From big cities to small towns you will always find some event happening. The locals are always very proud of their heritage and will celebrate it in every way possible. Tripadvisor is a good informative website which will help you plan your holiday time. Whatever city you plan on visiting they will have it listed with plenty of information on where and when events are happening. It is also excellent for user reviews as you can skip the sales talk on regular websites and hear the real deal from actual customers when it comes to items such as hotels, car hire, various attractions and special discounts.

Planning a break away is not a difficult thing to get right but dont fall into the trap of thinking everything will be alright on the day. Plan your trip away with care and attention to detail so as to avoid any nasty surprises which can pop up. If you do run into any holiday problems then stay calm and come up with a workable solution. This is all worst case scenario stuff though so dont worry and just make the most of your precious free time.

There is lots and lots of fun awaiting you but you must make the right choice. There are many great choices when it comes to holidays but they can vary in satisfaction greatly depending on ones taste. Many of the younger generation will long for the club/beach holiday spots such as Ibiza and Majorca. They adore the party scene and the non stop opportunities to be out socialising.

These islands also offer opportunities for the middle aged and older generations also with quieter spots available away from the noise of the party districts. Here you can sample all the local food delicacies and take life at your own relaxed pace. So depending on what you are looking for, make sure you don’t end up in the wrong resort or you could be in for a very disappointing holiday.

Sightseeing holidays are as popular as ever and you will find lots of amazing hostorical sites throughout Europe. Ancient Athens is an excellent idea for those who wish to mix culture with some glorious sunshine. The islands are also not too far away should you wish to hit the beaches. Plan everthing ahead of time if possible.

Public transport simply just does not cut it in many towns and cities. You need to be sure 100% that you can get to your destination on time.
